Mgr Martin will celebrate all the Masses in St John’s this weekend, before leaving us to take up his new posts. On Monday 3rd September we welcome our new parish priest, Canon Steven Mulholland.
Fr Bodgan, Deacon Kryz and Deacon Len, the Parish Pastoral Council and all the parishioners thank Mgr Martin for his service here at St John’s over these last three years. We thank him for his contribution to the life of our parish and we wish him every blessing in his private and pastoral life as he sets off to his new parish, serving St Fillan’s, Newport-on-Tay and Our Lady, Star of the Sea, Tayport. We call upon Mary, Mother of Priests, to be a faithful advocate for him in his ministry to the Kingdom of Christ.
During the coming week we welcome Canon Steven Mulholland, who comes to us from Dundee. Surrounding him with our prayers, we wish him many strengths and favours for every day of his ministry, for which we beg the intercession of St John the Baptist. Let Canon Steven continue the beautiful and sacrificial service of his predecessors. God Bless!
