With the Feast of St Patrick and St Joseph following within a couple of days of each other, the Irish and Italian communities joined forces in celebration.
St Patrick, the Apostle of Ireland and St Joseph, the patron of Italy, provided an opportunity to set aside the austerities of Lent and parishioners from St John the Baptist’s, Perth, packed into the church hall for a party that looked set to continue for many hours to come.
